Day 1 - Arrival into Syracuse and a Visit with Carol and Roger!

(A work in progress..... Stay tuned for more additions here and additional days to be added)

Day 1: The Journey Home and a Visit with Carol and Roger (July 14th)

We left Austin in the early morning. Enjoyed breakfast at the United Club. We always love visiting this small, intimate Club. It's probably the smallest of United's Clubs, it's been our travel "home" for some years now. The sad part is, the club will be renovated soon and we'll miss the vintage spot that we once knew.

Let's Board The Plane! First Class all the way, baby!

We arrived in Syracuse about 2pm. It's great to be home!

And Look What I Found! Historical PanAm FA Uniforms! Oh, Be Still My Heart!

Then, hopped in our rental SUV and we were off to visit Carol and Roger on the way to Watertown!
I have missed her so very much!
Carol and I go waaaaay back. She was first my friend and then my Team Leader in Mary Kay and guess what? She's still my Team Leader in Mary Kay! I love what we do together and I have to say, we both still look ravishing! We got to meet Mary Kay back in 1995 I think? It was at our Regional Convention in Syracuse and based on our Region's Top Sales, we were surprised with a visit from her. There's a pic of Carol here below with Mary Kay during that Convention. I will never forget it, we couldn't stop crying! LOL

And here is a picture of Carol and I from back in the day. This was taken at one of our regular meetings, along with some former teammates. I do believe I may have been pregnant with my second son here. What was I wearing!? We've come a long way, that's for sure!

Carol and Roger's Horseys! I love them!

My Vaughn gave them the pets, it was so special!

It was sad to leave, but after a long day of travelling and an hours-long visit, it was time to head up to Watertown for some dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings and get some rest.
